I've been on and around boats since from a very early age; the sea is in my ancestry blood and is my life.

I started in the marine industry Australia in 1972 as an apprentice Boilermaker/Shipbuilder.  After this time, I then worked my way up as Yacht Crew on Fishing Charters, Dive Charter and Sailing Charter vessels. After long study and qualifying as Commercial Captain up to 80 metres, I really got the chance to do what I wanted to do. 

Later I moved to the United States and joined the Crew Agency's for Crew Placement.  Here I worked on many Super Yachts as Refit Crew, Relief Mate, Delivery Captain and Watch Captain/Engineer for Trans Atlantic crossings three times.  During this 7 year period, I was a Captain and Project Manager in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and USA circuit.

Since then I moved to Asia. I've worked on various boats in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Indian Ocean region.

Now I am a Yacht Captain based in Phuket Thailand for the last 3years.
